Virtually every in-ground swimming pool, will at some stage during its life develop signs of aging. This may be in the form of cracking due to GROUND MOVEMENT, or　SURFACE DETERIORATION, such as PITTED　/　STAINED / MARBLITE / POROUS CONCRETE / FLAKING PAINT ETC. Obvious solutions are usually remedial surface repairs and subsequent regular painting of the swimming pool.

The FIBREGLASS SYSTEM, is a FIBREGLASS REINFORCED PLASTIC (F.R.P.) ‘MEMBRANE’, applied to your existing prepared pool surface. Unlike any paint, an F.R.P. membrane is fully reinforced with fibreglass. A completed surface coating/membrane will not ‘Flake’. Their high flexural strength will absorb most ground movement, where even expansion joints found on many commercial pools can be successfully “bridged” without further need for regular jointing.

FIBREGLASS SURFACE COATINGS/MEMBRANES ARE 100% COLOUR IMPREGNATED FOR LIFE WHICH MEANS NO PAINTING IS EVER REQUIRED. MOTIFS/LANE LINES/STEP MARKINGS and contrasting TOP EDGE BANDS can be incorporated within the finish to suit your own personal requirements.

They are highly resistant to impact damage like canoes or vandalism etc. Unlike a VINYL liner, F.R.P. cannot be cut or ripped.

Forming a bond between your original surface, an F.R.P. membrane becomes an integral part of your existing structure as illustrated in the photographs. F.R.P. is not a problem at all; even bar stools/fountains, etc., can be permanently enclosed.

In comparison to almost every other type of choice, the overall maintenance of an F.R.P. membrane is exceptionally minimal with great frost and UV resistance. If your pool turns “green” or iron deposits form, the surface can be walked on confidently while empty and chemically cleansed.
